The women's Hyundai Engineering & Construction and the men's Korean Air finished the long run with a toast in the regular league of the 2023-2024 V-League, which played 36 games per team over about six months.
The V-League regular season, which opened on October 14 last year and played a total of 252 games from round 1 to round 6, ended on the 17th.
The court heated up as the ranking battle continued just before the end of the regular season, and fans enjoyed the joy of volleyball.
Both men's and women's teams ranked No. 1 in the regular season were screened a day before the end of the regular season.
Korean Air (71 points, 23 wins, 13 losses) beat Woori Card (70 points, 23 wins, 13 losses) in a close game to achieve its fourth consecutive win in the regular league.
Hyundai (80 points, 26 wins, 10 losses) also had a fierce battle with Heungkuk Life Insurance (79 points, 28 wins, 8 losses) throughout the regular season, and won the title during the 2009-2010, 2010-2011, 2019-2020, and 2021-2022. It then collected its fifth trophy of the regular season.
The third-place fight was also a catalyst to boost the volleyball fever.
