Soccer team midfielder Lee Jae-sung (32, Mainz) led the German Bundesliga to stay in the first division with a strong performance at the end of the season.

Mainz won 3-1 away to Wolfsburg in the final round of 34 of the 2023-2024 Bundesliga at the Volkswagen Arena in Wolfsburg, Germany, on the 18th.
