Tiger Woods (USA) and ex-wife Elin Nordegren have faced each other in public for the first time in 14 years.
U.S. media, including Golf Week, reported on the 28th (Korea time) that Woods and Elin attended the high school golf championship ceremony held at Benjamin High School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The couple's first son, Charlie, was a member of the Benjamin High School golf team and received his winning ring that day.
Charlie represented Benjamin High School at the Florida High School Sports Class A Team Championship in November last year, helping Benjamin High School reach its fourth top.
Woods and Nordegren, who married in 2004, divorced in 2010 after giving birth to daughter Sam and son Charlie.
Even after the divorce, Woods and Nordegren visited the venue where Charlie played together, but did not encounter each other by taking different routes.
During the PNC Championship, the family golf tournament Woods played with Charlie, Nodegren watched his father and son play with his daughter Sam, but Woods and Nodegren did not meet face to face.
However, at Charlie's ceremony, Woods was seen standing right next to Nordegren while taking pictures with Charlie.
In the picture, Nodegren took a commemorative photo holding his son, whom Charlie gave birth to when he remarried, and Woods put his hands together and looked from the side with a happy expression.
Nordegren married former U.S. professional footballer Jordan Cameron in 2019.
