The Korea Professional Football Federation and Korea Seven have signed a business agreement for the right to a joint marketing and distribution partnership.
The signing ceremony was held at the soccer center in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 30th with officials from both companies, including Han Woong-soo, vice president of the Korea Football Federation, Choi Kyung-ho, CEO of Korea Seven, and Kim Min-jung, head of the marketing division.
The Korea Professional Football Federation and Korea Seven reached a relationship in September this year when they signed a distribution contract for the "K League Panini Trading Card." In this regard, through various collaborations such as online and offline promotion, content production, and sponsorship of snacks for the K League's youth team, the "K League Panini Card" exceeded 1.2 million packs in cumulative sales in about a month after its release.
Following the successful "K League Panini Trading Card" collaboration, the two companies signed this agreement to jointly promote various businesses and tasks along with expanding the base of professional football in the future.
Major agreements include product launch, joint promotion, online and offline joint marketing, and typically discuss the co-production and sale of K-League integrated MD products, development of joint products such as K-League branding snacks and instant foods, and operation of K-League-Seven Eleven pop-up stores. In addition, the federation and Korea Seven will cooperate in various ways to develop the two companies.
Han Woong-soo, vice president of the Korea Professional Football Federation, who attended the signing ceremony, said, "I am happy to sign an agreement with Korea Seven, which is leading new trends. Through this agreement, the federation and Korea Seven will conduct various joint marketing and provide K-League fans and consumers with a new culture and experience to enjoy soccer, he said.
